Probably not for you if

  • You only want to plan one month at a time. The Monthly Budget Sheet is smaller and €7 less.
  • You want automatic bank imports. You paste or type amounts in yourself.
  • You need a year that starts in a month other than January. This one runs January to December.
  • You need it for a business or for tax returns. This is a personal household tracker, licensed for personal use.
A note on advice
Dream Assets Studio templates are planning and tracking tools. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and they don't know your personal situation. Example figures are made up. You're responsible for what you enter and for the decisions you make with the results.

Questions about this one

Can my year start in September?

No. It covers a calendar year, January to December. If you plan from September, the Monthly Budget Sheet lets you pick any month and a start day.

Can I paste in a bank export?

Yes, into Transactions, as long as the date and amount columns line up. You pick the categories yourself; nothing is guessed.

How is the savings rate worked out?

(Income minus expenses) divided by income. Money you move into a savings category counts as saved, not as an expense.

What happens next year?

Make a fresh copy and change the year on Settings. Keep the old one as your record.

Can two of us use it?

Yes, within your household. In Sheets, share your copy with the other person. That is covered by the personal licence.
