How it works

You pay on Stripe's page, your link shows up right after, and the same link lands in your inbox. This page is the rest of it, including the details people usually ask about later.

Paying

  1. Pick a template or a bundle. The price on the product page includes VAT where it applies, and that’s the price you pay.
  2. Fill in our short order page. Your email, your country and four boxes to tick. The boxes are there because consumer law asks for them when files are delivered straight away. We explain each one on the page.
  3. Pay on Stripe’s page. You’ll see Stripe’s checkout, not ours. We never see your card number.
  4. Get your link. As soon as Stripe confirms, the links appear on the thank-you page, and we email them with your order details and our terms as a PDF.

One order is one template or one bundle. There’s no basket, so for two templates that aren’t in a bundle, place two orders.

No account to create, no subscription, nothing renews. Your bank may charge currency conversion or card fees.

Each link belongs to your order and works for 7 days and 5 uses per item. A use is a download, or opening a Google Sheets or Notion link. That’s enough to get the file onto your laptop and your tablet. It isn’t meant for passing round to friends.

When a link runs out, ask for a new one on the new link page with your email and order number, for up to 24 months after buying. A new link always gives you the latest version, and the old one stops working.

What's in the file

Each product page lists exactly what you get. A few things are true across the shop:

  • Paper sizes. Printables come in A4 and US Letter, in one .zip. A README inside says which file is which.
  • Week start. Digital planners come in Monday-start and Sunday-start versions. Spreadsheets start on Monday by default and you can change it.
  • Example data. Sheets and previews come with made-up example entries so you can see how they work. They’re labelled “Example data” and you can clear them.
  • Currency. Budget sheets have a setting for your currency and the month you start in.
  • Dated or undated. The 2027 Digital Planner is dated January to December 2027. The Undated Digital Planner has no dates, so you can start in any month. Same layout idea, different calendars.
  • Fonts. We only use fonts with a licence that allows them inside a PDF, and they’re embedded, so the file looks the same on your device as it does on ours.

Which app you'll need

Every product page has a “Works with” table. “Built for” means we made the file for that app’s standard features. “Works, with limits” comes with a note saying what doesn’t.

  • Google Sheets. You get a “Make a copy” link: sign in to Google, press Make a copy, done. Works in any current browser. The Sheets phone app is fine for checking numbers, fiddly for setting up.
  • Excel, Windows and Mac. Plain .xlsx, no macros, so no yellow “Enable content” bar. Built for Microsoft 365 Excel. We avoid newer functions like XLOOKUP and dynamic arrays, so older versions should cope, but we haven’t checked every one.
  • GoodNotes and Notability. Our tablet planners are hyperlinked PDFs built for these two: tap a tab or a date and you jump to it. Import the PDF as a new notebook, then write with your pencil.
  • Other PDF apps. The tablet PDFs open in any PDF app, but some apps (on Android tablets especially) don’t follow internal links, or only in a reading mode. If you use something else, ask us before you buy.
  • Fillable PDFs. The Yearly Goals Workbook has boxes you can type into. Most desktop PDF readers fill them in; some phone apps don’t.
  • Notion. The free plan works for most of our Notion templates; each product page says what it needs. More in Notion and Google Sheets.

We build to these apps' standard features. Tell us if something doesn't behave.

Printing at home (or at a print shop)

  1. Pick the file for your paper: A4 (most of the world) or US Letter (US and Canada).
  2. In the print dialog, choose 100% or Actual size, not “Fit to page”, so the boxes keep their size.
  3. Print one page first to check, then the rest.
  4. Double-sided? Use “flip on long edge” for pages meant to be bound on the left.
A4 and US Letter, drawn to the same scale Two sheets sharing a bottom left corner. A4 is narrower and taller, US Letter is wider and shorter. A4 210 × 297 mm US Letter 8.5 × 11 in
US Letter is a little wider and shorter. That is why each printable comes in both sizes, instead of one file stretched to fit.

You can print as many copies as you need for yourself and your household, at home or at a print shop. Colours will look a bit different on every printer and paper. That’s normal, not a fault in the file.

Notion and Google Sheets

Notion

Notion templates arrive as a private “Duplicate” link plus a PDF setup guide. You’ll need a Notion account (the free plan works for most templates; each product page says what it needs). Open the link and click Duplicate to put your own copy in your workspace. Notion is a separate service with its own terms and can change how it works. Your copy stays in your workspace; we keep the link active for at least 24 months and will resend it on request.

While a template’s Duplicate link isn’t published yet, you get the setup guide on its own: every property, view and formula, step by step, so you can build it yourself. The product page says which it is before you buy.

Google Sheets

You’ll need a Google account. The “Make a copy” link creates your own copy in your Google Drive. The original stays with us, view-only, and we don’t get access to your copy. Google’s own terms apply to your Drive. You also get the Excel .xlsx, which you can keep as a backup or import into Sheets yourself.

The licence

Personal-use licence. You can: use the template for yourself and your household; edit it and make it your own; keep it on your own devices and backups; print as many copies as you need for your own use, at home or at a print shop. You can’t: resell, share, give away, upload or post the files or the Notion link, in whole or in part; use them with clients, in a business, workshop, course or coaching practice; sell printed copies or products made from them; remove our name or notices; or present them as your own work. One purchase is for one person and their household. We keep the copyright. Need more? Write to us about a commercial licence.

It’s a one-off price, with no subscription. The full text is in the licence terms. If this summary and the licence terms ever disagree, the licence terms win.

Updates, and what we can see

  • Fixes are free for as long as we sell the template. When we fix something, the next link you ask for gives you the fixed file. We don’t email you about every small change.
  • Notion templates are a copy in your workspace, so a fix doesn’t reach your copy by itself. Ask for a new link and duplicate it again if you want the fixed version.
  • What you type stays with you. We never receive what you enter into a template. Excel and PDF files live on your own devices. Sheets copies live in your Google account, Notion copies in your Notion workspace, under those services’ own terms.
  • What we do keep is the order: your email, country, what you bought and the boxes you ticked. The privacy notice has the details.
