How to start
Open the .xlsx in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets.
On Goals, clear the example goals and type yours: name, target, start date, deadline, and anything already saved.
Each time you put money aside, add a line on Deposits and pick the goal from the dropdown.
Check Overview whenever you like.

Licence, Delivery, Updates and support

- Personal use: for you and your household, on your own devices, printed as often as you like for yourselves. No reselling, sharing or using it for work. The licence in full

After payment your download link appears on screen and arrives by email: the template as an Excel .xlsx file. To use it in Google Sheets, upload it to Google Drive and open it with Sheets. The link works for 7 days and 5 uses (a download, or opening a Sheets or Notion link); we'll send a new one if you need it.
- Withdrawal
- If a file doesn't open or doesn't match its description, we'll fix it or refund you. Because the files arrive straight away, you'll be asked at checkout to agree that withdrawal ends once you start a download or open a link. How withdrawal works

Probably not for you if
- You want interest or investment growth calculated. The sheet adds up what you log; it doesn't model returns.
- You'd rather colour in squares on paper. That's the Printable Savings Trackers, €6.
- You want it to move money for you. Nothing here connects to a bank.

Questions about this one
What if I take money back out of a goal?
Add it on Deposits as a negative amount. The goal's total goes down and the monthly figure adjusts.
Is the monthly amount a recommendation?
No. It is arithmetic: what is left to save, divided by the months left before your deadline (rounded up). Change the date and it changes.
Why did the statuses in the example change?
The sheet uses today's date unless you type an "as of" date on Goals, so example statuses shift over time. Type a date if you want it fixed.
The Deposits tab shows a red "No match".
Goal names have to match exactly between Goals and Deposits. Pick the goal from the dropdown, and if you rename a goal, rename its rows on Deposits too.
Can I have more than ten goals?
The sheet is built for ten. For more, make a second copy.
